Matthew Hixon, also known as 99centmcfury, is not only a professional gamer but also the owner of Gamers Glorified LLC. Through his company, he and his team focus on teaching life and developmental skills, academics, financial literacy, and career opportunities to the youth and young adults, all while playing games. His esports and video game program and curriculum provides tangible skill sets to his students.

In addition to his work with Gamers Glorified LLC, 99centmcfury was the first-ever Kishwaukee College esports head coach, launching the inaugural intercollegiate esports team season in the fall of 2020. Now, after three and a half years, he is bringing his success to the College of Lake County as their first-ever esports coach. His dedication to teaching and coaching through gaming is truly inspiring.
